Uncover Tarangire’s Hidden Springs and Enchanting Wildlife: A Journey into the Heart of Nature
Discover Tarangire riverbed in search of underground springs, of rare species such as eland and oryx around each shrinking lagoon. On our final day, we will have a short game drive visiting Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic gem of jungle and forest. Here you can see baboons hanging from trees, flamingos in the lakes during migration, various bird species including pelicans, cormorants and storks and larger animals like giraffes, elephants and zebras.
Day 1: Overland Tarangire National Park
After early breakfast depart for your flight to Arusha, upon arrival you will guide and drive to Tarangire National Tanzania’s third largest National park and sanctuary for unusually large elephant populations. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lions, cheetahs and up to six thousand elephants, buffalos and zebras.

Day 2: Full Day; Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast you will descend into the crater for a wonderful game drive (with a picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater often described as one of the wonders of the world. It is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations. It is one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in their natural setting. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. High walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species.

Day 3: Karatu – Flight to Zanzibar Island
After breakfast, we will depart from Karatu and head towards Manyara National Park with our packed lunch trailing the plains of Manyara National Park. Nestling at the base of Great Rift Valley escarpments, the park is recognized for its flamingos in the lake during migration, various birds’ species, Buffalos, Elephants, Giraffes, Impala, Hippo and large numbers of avian-fauna communities. Later in the afternoon slowly drive to Arusha town for your flight to Zanzibar.

- All Day: Spend the day at the resort’s private beach. Enjoy activities like snorkeling, paddleboarding, or a glass-bottom boat ride.
- Family Fun: Kids’ club activities for children, and spa treatments for parents.
- Morning: Visit Jozani Forest; explore the unique flora and fauna, including the famous red colobus monkeys.
- Afternoon: Head to Kizimkazi for a dolphin encounter; optional snorkeling experience.
- Evening: Free time at the resort.
- Full Day: Embark on the Safari Blue tour; sail on a traditional dhow, explore sandbanks, snorkel in clear waters, and enjoy a seafood BBQ lunch on Kwale Island.
